Per Proclamation 1463, signed February 18, 2008:
shall be observed in the country on June 9, 2008 (Monday).

Per Proclamation 1463-A, signed May 7, 2008:
Section 1-a: All activities and celebrations in commemoration of
Independence Day and Ninoy Aquino Day shall, however, remain to be
observed on June 12 and August 21, respectively.

Per RA 9492, approved July 24, 2007:
shall be observed Monday nearest June 12

RA 9492 Sec. 1 c) In the event the holiday falls on a Wednesday, the
holiday will be observed on the Monday of the week. If the holiday
falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be observed on the Monday that
follows.
For movable holidays, the President shall issue a proclamation, at
least six months prior to the holiday concerned, the specific date
that shall be declared as a nonworking day.
